When did henry ford go to college
He was the oldest of six children and attended local public schools and a private grammar school. Ford was fascinated by machines and enjoyed the simplicity of rural life. He finished eighth grade at a one-room school, Springwells Middle School, and never attended high school. He later took a bookkeeping course at a commercial school. Foster did not attend high school and left school after finishing eighth grade at the Springwells School.

He left school at about 15 years old and did not go back. He was subjected to being drafted at 18 years of age, so he decided to work at Ford for a while. He left primary school around age 15 or 16, and later attended Goldsmith, Bryant, and Stratton Business. He went on to attend Yale University. He also worked at the Ford Motor Company. He had little interest in school and was a poor student.
