Panchu Arunachalam is an Indian producer and writer. He has given his contribution to the Tamil film industry. He owned the production house P. Most of his pictures were released under the banner of his production house. He worked in more than movies as a writer and had written songs for more than movies. He was born in Tamil Nadu.

His father the elder brother of Tamil poet and lyricist Kannadasan. He made his first directorial debut from the movie Manamagale Vaa in The movie starred Prabhu in the lead role. The movie was a huge hit at the box office. The movie was further remade in the Telugu language as Idem Pellam Baboi.
